Moxi Fab Tuesday Trigger

I just noticed this Moxi Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge Yesterday. i LOVE yellows; so of course I had to squeeze in some time and have a little fun with yellow. This challenge is about an idea in yellow, and here above is my idea in yellow. All the distressed surfaces in the inspiration piece below inspired the use of the cuttlebug distressed stripes folder to embossed the yellow card stock and that inspire the use of the deckled rectangle nestabilities dies. I liked the idea of something distressed with something ripped, I then decided to add balloons, to help them pop off the white I added a yellow die cut to the back of the balloons stamped in white, kind of like a a shadow but in this case more like a highlight.  I thought of adding more to the balloons but liked that it looked like rough sketch, a drawing still in the works. I finished by curving the sentiment to give it that lift at the end like the balloons going up and and of the feeling when someone lifts your spirits up just like the color yellow does, doesn't yellow just make you smile?

Hope that you guys like it, Thanks for stopping by. Chao!

The stamps used are from the PTI up, up and way stamp set

  1. Wow!
I love the highlights behind the balloons - it just makes them pop. And curving the sentiment is perfect, it just underlines what it says. Lovely card :)

  2. Hey Wendy! What a sweet approach to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! Thanks so much for playing along! :)
