Decorative TRIM Color Trends Challenge

I made this card for the Embellish Decorative Trim Color Trends Challenge. The moment I read that it was all about embellishing with trim. I knew that I wanted to try making my own trim. I hope that counts.  I crocheted this trim with the PTI rustic jute twine and a crocheting needle size k/10 1/2. Only took me a few minutes to make this little over 5 inches or so strip with single crochet stitches. I also made another trim with mercerized cotton but like best the way this fibers look on this card. Let me know what you think. I have been wanting to incorporate my other hobby (crocheting) into card making and this seem like the perfect opportunity to do it.

Have a great weekend ladies. Chao!

The stamps used are from Skipping Stones Dandelion Dreams.
