Just Stamping

I have been making cards for a little over a year now and this is the first time I ran out and bought a stamp set the moment in gets released. I had to have this Grunge Me stamp set and the Boy Basics Rock On from PTI. Until now I didn't have any kind of big boy masculine stamps. My son's Birthday has now come and gone. I really wanted to make him a birthday card and I knew these two sets will pair nicely for that and so much more. I feel like now I have to show the card we(me and Evelyn) made for him so i will show it at the bottom of this post. I started having fun with this set the moment I received it. It's's been so much fun just stamping with random color combinations and and that is how I created the card above only this time i used the Color Q Challenge # 82 color combination. I really liked how it turned out. It was so funny that when I went to get my husband's opinion on this card, he in this kind of mocking tone said " is very CAS" it sure made me laugh but he did say that he liked it too.

My daugther was so happy making this card with me. We sneaked away while the boys were playing video games to make this card. Evelyn (my daugther) had fun choosing the placement of things and stamping all on her on. We had to make the splash of paint in Ethan's favorite color. I can't believe my little guitar player is 9 years old. I am 5.5 feet tall and he is almost as told as me but no matter how old and tall he gets he will always be my little Ethan.  People always say that time flies. I really didn't understand that until we had children. Sorry for all the rambling. Thanks for stopping by.
