CAS-ual Fridays

In thinking up a "texty" idea for the first challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays Challenge # 1, the idea of an alphabet chicken noodle soup ran through my head and I decided to go with it. The bowl turned out to be the hardest thing to make believe it or not, because I wanted it to have a bit of depth. I ended up making the bowl by making a 3 inch circle, cutting a 2 inch circle in the center of the 3 inch circle, then in that circle with the hole in the middle I made a straight cut from the inner edge to the outer edge and overlapped those two ends about the fourth of a inch, used adhesive to keep that together, adhere that to the card using dimensional tape then placed the soup inside the bowl. How did I make the seam disappear? I garnished the bowl of soup with some herbs right where the seam is.  I shrinked this tree with the help of my silhouette to look  more like Rosemary which happens to be my favorite herb. I hope all that made sense. The noodles were created with punctuation marks and signs from the Smitty's ABC's and Hero Arts fanciful swirl alphabet set that has swirly letters.
