Happy Birthday

The color combination over at Embellish Color Trends (Backgrounds) Challenge, inspire me to go masculine, even thought I really like the feminine card DT member Mariana Grigsby created with these colors.
I used the the splash of paint stamp from the Grunge Me stamp set to create the background, then I heat embossed with the circles stamp from the same stamp set on color papers that I had already  arranged in a pattern, I continued by stamping the sentiment in a separate piece of card stock that i cutted with at an angle at one end. i think it brings the design of the card together nicely and I finished off by adding the threaded button.
I don't know about you but I know that I can certainly used more grown up masculine cards to my stash. As I was working on this card, when it occurred to me that this card qualifies to also be submitted into the Color Block Challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays Challenge # 7.
Stamps used are from PTI Grunge Me and Boy Basics Rock On stamp sets
