Loving Yellow

Have you guys heard of the brand new Runaway Inspired Challenge? If you haven't, you really need to head over and check it out, there is still time left if you want to participate in their very first challenge.
One of the reasons I was really excited about  this first challenge was because since some time last year I fell in love with yellow. I can't get enough of it. Do you see the criss cross detail on the dress below? that is what i was inspired to bring onto my card. Also last month Maile Belles made this card and I loved the design. So today when I sat down craving to get creative and make a none Christmas project. I was inspire to put these two ideas together. Don't you love it when that happens? I made the criss cross lines with the Martha Score board using the envelope maker attachment that comes with it.

Here is a second card that I decided to make. The flowers in the first card i made with a tiny flower punch and the flower on the second card was created with the Silhouette.

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Oooooh Wendy- I recognized that Maile layout right away! (I actually had CASEd that same card of hers a few weeks back!) I love your version of it, and how you incorporated our inspiration photo. Both cards have the great scoring detail...awesome idea! Thanks so much for playing along with the very first Runway Inspired Challenge!
