Making More Embossing plates and a Winner

Love this color combination so much I had to use it again. I am still having having fun making my own embossing plates. Can you tell? for this one i used the cloud dies from PTI and then rubbed chalk around the embossed clouds with my finger using a cloud die cut cloud as a mask to not get chalk on the clouds. It really looks so much better in person, hope that you want to try it. you will LOVE it! I am submitting this to the Die Cutting Challenge over at Moxi Fab World and also The Embossing & Dembossing Challenge also over at Moxi Fab World. Check these challenges out and I am sure you will want to play along too.

It was such a crazy weekend but so fun. My son participated in his first Pinewood Derby and got 4th place for Speed, which is awesome! he was so excited to get a trophy. Our pack does an Outlaw race for the siblings and parents that might want to race and that was such a riot.

Here above is a picture of our cars, Evie's was not complete at this point, we had not added the eyes and antennas. Ethan was the one with the skulls of course, (Ghost Rider) and mine is the pretty one. Everyone kept telling me how beautiful it was, it was so funny.

Here we are racing, can you see the lego one, with the huge pole thing, it was hilarious.

These are some of the cars Ethan race, he came first at all four of his races, he loved every minute of it. What kid wouldn't? The pirate car won for design.

I had to to take picture of this, don't you love it? the mom put her face on the doll. I am telling you we had a blast. There were so many awesome cars. Look at that little mouse, it was adorable going down the track too, going from one side to the other of the lane. Just like a little mouse.

Now. I had a giveaway last week that ended Friday. I feel so bad that i made you wait this long, so with drum roll please.... the winner picked by Randon.org was # 2. That is you Karen B. Congratulations! This my first giveaway ever...and it was fun. Send me your info Karen and I will send your price over to you right away. Happy Tuesday people.
