Retro Sketches

I had such a great time Guest Designing over at Retro Skeches this month. Time flew by just like it always does when one is having fun.

I made this card above and this second card below for Retro Sketches Challenge # 30. One card is the norm but I was inspired and then could not make up my mind about which one to submit. So I sent both to Arielle and she couldn't choose either...so funny and so sweet of her to share both. Thanks to and Arielle and Design Team for been so sweet and welcoming. For this card above I used my Silhouette to cut the tree and the owl, the leaves I just hand cut by hand.

For this second card  I went more simple. I dry embossed then inked the raised areas a bit with white chalk ink and roughen the edges using the sharp blade side of a pair of scissors then inked the edges too. I threaded my button with thin strips of cardstock. I learn this from a fellow crafter. I will come back and add the link for her blog. The the design team made some really great cards. Head over and check them out. I can't wait to see what you all create. This has been a lot of fun. Thank for stopping by and have a great weekend.
