Happy Birthday

Hello, there. Today I wanted to share this card that I made using up those embellishments that I've been collecting...so many ideas and so little time. I thought this Jack in the box sticker would be perfect for a birthday card...but it was looking a little lonely on the white cardstock and I wanted other elements to bring the card together...thinking, thinking. I stamped the Happy Birthday on yellow cardstock but still was not enough, so I decided to try something not knowing how it was going to turn out. Inspired by the glitter that Jack in the box already had, I squeezed some stickles right on the sentiment and then used a round stick to evenly spread it, like frosting on a cake. I was worried that the sentiment was going to smear specially since I used pigment ink, but to my surprise it didn't smear. Yay! I think the drawn on stitches and stamped stars brought the card together really nicely. I love the sparkling sentiment, it looks really good in person.  Here below is another take.

Thanks for stopping by : )
