Thinking about you

I updated this post by adding the supplies used to the end of this post. Thank you for a your sweet and wonderful comments : )

I am quickly popping in to share a couple of cards and a yummy treat. I was inspired to make this first card after making a little visit over at Color Q Challenge # 184. Because as you will notice below I seem to be very much into pink right now.

Loving pink, I made this card below to go along with my first non card listing in my Etsy Shop. I am feeling a little excited about it : )

Wednesday, I was busy in the kitchen trying for the third time to make Cinnamon Rolls. I am so happy that finally, they turned out good  and so yummy! I  conquered the issues I was having with the dough part. Yay! just had to share.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Update: Milan, Sorry I didn't find a way to email you or something to answer your question. My apologies. I don't always think of listing the supplies I used. The adorable Layered Butterfly Die is from wplus9 Design Studios and the heart die is from Papertrey Ink, the stamp set used in the butterfly card is also from Wplus9Design Studios (kisses and cuddles stamp set). The Die for the Mini Pinwheel is from Lil' Inker Designs. The sweet little sentiment in the Pinwheel card is from Verve Stamps.

In case anybody wants to know this Cinnamon Roll Recipe is from the Pioneer Woman. We are not coffee drinkers here, so I made a glaze for our Cinnamon Rolls. By the way if you happen to make these Cinnamon Rolls, they are just like freshly baked the next day if you put them in microwave for about 15 seconds. So Yummy!

Hugs,
Wendy

  7. Hi! Kara,

Thanks for stopping by. It's cool that you thought those pieces were wood, they are in fact just Papertrey's cream cardstock. I don't think you can appreciate in the photo that the heart is dry embossed and both the heart and butterfly were sprayed with shimmery spritz. It looks really pretty in person.
