Hello

Hello! It's been a little while since I last posted something, or crafted something to share here. I have missed paper crafting...lots. Some of you may not know this, but I homeschool my kiddos, for the last little bit there I felt like it was kicking my booty. Anyways, I was happy to get crafty today. I was inspire to create something using that gradient technique that I am seeing around..so I decide to go with that idea using the color combinations from the current Color Q Challenge # 192. Before that little blog break I had purchased some Stamping Up! goodies, which included indigo cardstock and ink. I just love that indigo color. To create that gingham panel and achieve that look. I heat embossed the gingham image and then I water colored over the heat embossed image using dye inks, it was so much fun and I love how this turned out.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by

  3. This is lovely! I didn't know you homeschool--I do, too! I'm so glad the school year is almost done, though...I'm soooo tired! We'll do some stuff over the summer but it'll be much more relaxed.

    Will you continue homeschooling?
