Carpe Diem

My friend Rebecca and I made a die cut trade. The die cuts I used to create this card are from that trade. I am pretty sure these dies are from Memory Box.
She surprised with a some additional die cuts. Right away I wanted to do something with the dandelion. As I played with the design to make a card. I thought that a die cut word would be nice to use with what I had going on thus far. Rebecca had sent me a die cut that read Carpe Diem. I knew it was Latin but I could not remember what it meant so I looked it up and this is what I found it meant.

Carpe Diem: Latin. seize the day; enjoy the present, as opposed to placing all hope in the future.

Well, I thought that the phrase could not be more perfect for my card. Love how this card came out.  Thanks! Rebecca you are awesome! I don't think I will forget what Carpe Diem means now.

Thanks for stopping by!
