I don't know if this happens to most of us card makers but I don't make enough masculine cards. My Dad's Birthday is coming up, and this above is what I came up with for him. My Dad has been very sweet and supportive of my card making hobby...he has even placed card orders that he has insisted in paying for. He even gave me the honor of making the invitations for his wedding back in April...It was really great to put together those invitations for him and his bride. Anyways, I know that he will appreciate this card.
To make this card. I layered two of these Birthday die cuts but before I adhered them to each other I sprayed one with gray. I then also sprayed a strip of cardstock cut and it to have those layers of cardstock you see here, trimming the more sprayed one to place behind and less sprayed one to go in front with the sentiment. I adhered both these layers together and then unto the card base with double sided foam adhesive.
I just love sweet and subtle colors and that was the inspiration behind this second card that I made for one of my dear sisters.
Ok...so I actually was not planning on posting these invitations but since I mentioned them. I thought that maybe you would like to see how those Wedding Invitations turned out. So here is one of them. I just photographed it.
I can't take credit for the sweet message in the invitation it was Beatriz and her sister who I believe came up with it.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
