A Button Up Christmas Tree

Hello my crafty friends, I am popping in to share with you this card that I made to play along in the CAS-UAL Friday Challenge # 119.

CFC119: Use dry or heat embossing on your Clean And Simple project.
I have wanted to make a card using a negative space filled with buttons. We all have seen projects like this out there, haven't we? This was fun a easy to do. I was just having a hard time with the finishing part, and that is when I thought of using the buttons embossing folder,  to add more interest in a clean and simple way and play off the button up Christmas tree.
My kids gifted me this embossing folder for my birthday, this past September. I was totally surprised. They were so tickled when I showed then this card. They loved the card and were happy that I was using the embossing folder because that means that I must really like their present and I do. I love it!
Head over to CAS-UAL Fridays to see what everyone else has created for this fun challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Note: The embossing folder is from Darice Embossing Essentials.
