A card for Dad, was not at all what I was thinking about making when creative juices started flowing after seeing this inspiration piece from the ColourQ current Challenge # 244. Fun colors. and I love the clock, this clock would actually go nicely in my sons room the colors would coordinate perfectly with his sports theme room.
Anyways, back to the card. One thing let to another and the idea of pattern paper banners came to mind and then I really liked the idea of a word die like happy birthday but then the word DAD popped into my head and there you go. This is perfect because I had not made a Father's Day car yet. Why? well, honestly we have been really sick around here for almost two weeks now so we have not given Father's Day too much thought. and second well, my hubby and I finally got Kayaks a couple months back, those toys were not cheap so we decided that they were our Mother's Day and Father's Day presents...plus spending some amazing time kayaking some where to celebrate in the outdoors with our Children the joy of being a Mommy and Daddy.
Here below is a close up picture, love how nice and thick this letters looks, a layered three letters together to achieve that look. I cut the letters with my Cameo and used the LD type set font.
That is it, hope that maybe you too got inspired to create something, thanks for stopping by. Happy Father's Day to you great! Daddy's out there.
