My mother-in-law asked me to make her some thank you cards, and she really wanted a Bee card. when I asked her is she had a sentiment in mind? right away she said the sentiment you see on the card above and I loved it. She said that she had this idea in her head for a little while and I was more than happy to put it on paper for her. I loved it when I get ask to make something because I causes me to think creating something that I may not otherwise would have thought of creating.
My daughter really liked this shaker card and how it looked on this rustic background, she tells me "it looks like we went camping and you brought that card and put it on one of the picnic tables" so cute! We just went camping last week.
This one above is a repeat from another card just like it that I made here.
My kids decided to bake cookies for their Nana, who we were going to be visiting, we were also meeting with an Aunt who I also wanted to gift some cookies to and guess what? I discovered that our chocolate chip cookies fit in our Ball jars, yay! I wrinkled up the paper to give it a fabric kind of look. I loved that the cookies were in a sealed and uncrashable container.
Still feeling happy and surprised that I was able to make all these card between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. I Just received and order from Papertrey and I am dying to play with those goodies : )
Have a great weekend!
Stamps used are from Wplus9 (The Birds and the Bees stamp set) sorry I believe its retired and the rest are from Papertrey Ink (Mendhi Medallion, a Big Thank you, and Think big favorites # 4) the sentiment on the Bee card was printed, I used the fonts Mathilde and Gabriola.
